Appeal for new three sets of Defibrillator pads October 2024
We just want to say a massive THANK YOU after recently appealed for your help to fund replacement Pads for Three Defibrillators.
Following this appeal donations were made by individuals to help bolster the money to keep going. We are always thankful for the Monthly donations made ever month.
We want to also thank three companies so much who donated the Whole amount for the Three pads meaning we are able to put this funding towards the other Defibrillators. they are TekGuys Stonestreet SAR Store and Kashmir Tandoori (Riverside Bishopstoke). What is so touching is two companies are not even in our Parish but stepped in to keep us all safe.

Special Donation of £1800 after Trustee helps family Stuck on M3 Motorway
A businessman and his family have pledged a very generous Donation of £1800 after our Chair & Trustee Rob came to his families rescue last week on the live M3 Motorway in the early evening. His vehicle had broken down with his family and children inside on the middle lane of the M3 Slip road during bad weather.
Rob without thought placed himself between the family and the live Motorway to warn other motorists and provide help to get them to safety whilst trying to get the vehicle moved.
For the kindness, compassion and self sacrifice that night, Mr S and his family have made a pledge donation of £1800 as their lucky number is 18, this donation is in Memory of their recent Late father in the USA. Another Defibrillator will now be placed in Bishopstoke.

Councillor Louise Parker-Jones Grants us £1675,00
The lady picture is Louise Anne Parker-Jones and an absolute asset to our village. No only does Lou give up a huge amount of her own time volunteering and to keep Bishopstoke clean with the litter pickers, Lou is a pillar for our village. After leaving as a Bishopstoke Independent Councillor, Lou is now a Hampshire County Councillor.
Every year Councillors are allocated a small pot of funds to help projects in our community’s.
Last year we were successful in receiving a grant from Lou for £1000 towards another Defibrillator which was an amazing help.
This year we took over the guardianship of a Defibrillator at St Paul’s Church in Bishopstoke, originally funded by Independent Councillors Lou, Ray Dean and Gin Tidridge but this Defibrillator is in desperate critical need for a new battery to the point it would have to be out of service in a months time.
Thankfully the amazing lifesaver Councillor Louise Parker-Jones has come to the rescue and beyond again this year, not only have we been awarded funds by way of Lou’s Grant for the sum of £1675.00 to replace this battery urgently, but also for an entire new complete Defibrillator Cabinet together with an Emergency Bleed Control Kit.
The great news is we now have TWO more Defibrillator locations which will be fully equipped by Christmas.

We have also received a generous Grant from Councillor Louise Parker-Jones of £1000 towards another defibrillator.
Without the financial support from the public and Grants we would not be able to continue.
